Watermelons can be used in more ways than one, so try out this recipe on how to use the watermelon rind. It’s such a great way to stretch your grocery budget AND waste less food!


  • 1 cup Watermelon, Diced
  • 3/4 cup Watermelon Rind, Diced
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon


  • Dice your watermelon and watermelon rind, removing the skin. Save and pack away any unused watermelon for an easy snack.
  • In a pot over medium heat, combine your watermelon and cinnamon.
  • Stir occasionally and until watermelon becomes translucent and soft.
  • Let it cool and you're ready to eat!
