Dried plums enrobed in a peanut butter coating, then rolled in candy sprinkles, are a great addition to your holiday cookie plate.

Ingredients

    • 1 cup
      fat free instant skim milk powder (250 mL)
    • 1/3 cup

      icing sugar 
(75 mL)

    • ½ cup
      creamy peanut butter (125 mL)
    • ½ cup

      maple syrup 
(125 mL)

    • ½ tsp.
      vanilla extract (2 mL)

      pitted California Prunes each cut in half
    • Colored candy sprinkles

Instructions

    1. In a medium bowl, combine dry milk powder and sugar.
    2. Add peanut butter, maple syrup and vanilla, mixing to blend completely. Mixture will be stiff.
    3. Divide into 24 portions, about 2 tsp/10 mL each. Form each into a ball and flatten slightly. Wrap each around 1 prune half, covering completely. Reshape into a ball.
    4. Roll balls in candy sprinkles. Store in covered container in fridge until ready to serve.
