Pear and Pecan Crumble

Ingredients

Crumble

  • ½ cup oats
  • ¼ cup tapioca flour
  • cup cold butter chopped (50g) Vegan or regular. Sub cold/solid coconut oil but butter is best.
  • cup cup raw sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • cup U.S. pecans

Pear Filling

  • 5 medium U.S. pears peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp raw sugar
  • 1 ½ tbsp tapioca flour

Instructions

Crumble

  • Add ingredients to a food processor and pulse to combine into a coarse meal.

Pear Filling

  • Preheat an oven to 350F. Toss ingredients together. Spread into an 8x8" pan. Sprinkle the crumble on top. Bake for 40-45 minutes until the top is golden and pears are soft. Serve warm.
