USA Pears/Pear Bureau Northwest

Established in 1931, the Pear Bureau Northwest is a non-profit marketing organization that promotes the fresh pears grown in Washington and Oregon.

Today, the United States is the second largest pear-producing country in the world, and Washington and Oregon comprise the nation’s largest pear growing region with nearly 900 growers producing 88% of all fresh pears grown in the U.S. Pears grown in these two Pacific Northwest states are distributed under the “USA Pears” brand.
